BEFORE you contact us, please read below.

WE UNDERSTAND WE ARE AT A TIME WHEN PEOPLE HAVE SPECIFIC NEEDS, IF YOU NEED HELP PLEASE ASK. WE ARE FOCUSED MORE THAN EVER ON HELPING OUR COMMUNITIES.

Meon Valley Lions is a local club of volunteers, part of a network of international Lions Clubs, sharing a core belief of helping our community.

The focus of our charitable work is therefore the local community in the Meon Valley. If you’re an individual who needs support through a difficult period in your life, you need assistance to purchase specialist equipment to overcome disability, or a helping hand for your youngsters on a specific project, we may be able to help both financially and in other practical ways. We also support clubs, hospices, organisations and other local charities to help them fulfil their objectives and support programmes in their communities. You’ll find examples of work our work on the news and home pages.

We do not support large national or international charities unless it is a local initiative in the Meon Valley.

We contribute approx 10% of our funds to support global disaster relief programmes. We only do this via Lions International who channel monies to Lions clubs within the disaster zone as they know what’s really needed on the ground.

We do consider every application we receive carefully, the decision to support any group or individual is governed by above. An email is best way to contact us but if you prefer to phone you can call 07443753780 - please note we provide assistance to those in need, we don’t collect furniture or household items.
